Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A licensed Physical Therapist is needed to provide educationally focused physical therapy services in a K-12 school setting, primarily serving students in grades K-2. This full-time role involves a 7.25-hour day, totaling 36.5 hours per week, with a contract duration through the school year. The position requires in-person service delivery to best support student engagement and progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy sessions tailored to meet educational goals for young students
• Collaborate with school staff to integrate therapy into the students school day
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes as required
• Ensure compliance with all relevant state educational and healthcare guidelines, including required fingerprinting through NYSED

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT); Physical Therapist Assistants are not eligible for this role
• Current fingerprint clearance through New York State Education Department (NYSEd)
• Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably within school-based settings
• Ability to work in-person and maintain a consistent schedule aligned with school calendar breaks (no work during Winter Break starting Presidents Day week and Spring Break beginning March 30th)

Contract Details:

• Full day schedule (7.25 hours/day, 36.5 hours/week)
• Immediate start date preferred
• Assignment duration through mid to late April (target end date around April 21 or 22)
