We’re rethinking how AI fits into everyday life — and we’re looking for a sharp  AI Engineer to help bring it to life.

🚀  Role Overview

As an AI Engineer at Nummi, you'll work closely with the founding team to design and deploy core intelligence systems — from vector-based memory to real-time, context-aware agents. You’ll be part of the early engineering team, shaping not just product features, but the foundation of what Nummi becomes. This is a 3-month, equity only role with potential conversion to a full-time salaried position. Senior and junior undergraduates are encouraged to apply.

Our Tech Stack

We build with a  modern, performance-first stack :

• Next.js (App Router)for frontend architecture
• TypeScript across the stack for safety and speed
• Tailwind CSS ,  shadcn/ui ,  Radix UI for beautiful UI at scale
• OpenAI / Foundational Models (GPT-4, Claude, etc.)
• LangChain +  Pinecone for vector search & contextual memory
• Serverless functions for fast and scalable backend logic

🛠  What You’ll Work On

• Implement AI features like memory graphs, user-specific context, and proactive intelligence
• Build and optimize RAG pipelines using vector databases
• Design prompt systems and chain-of-thought logic for multi-turn conversations
• Collaborate with design and product on user-facing workflows
• Move fast, iterate often, and ship with care

🧠  What We're Looking For

• Solid experience with  LLMs and tools like  OpenAI APIs, LangChain, Pinecone
• Strong grasp of  TypeScript ,  Next.js , and modern web dev principles
• Understanding of RAG systems, embeddings, and intelligent agents
• A builder mindset — excited by 0→1 product challenges
• Bonus: Experience in designing intelligent UI/UX for AI interfaces
