Pay Transparency:

The anticipated starting salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position and is $75,000-95,000/yr.

Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.

Audacy is seeking a dynamic, engaging, and knowledgeable remoteSports Talk Hostto join our national sports programming team. We're looking for a talented broadcaster who can deliver compelling, entertaining, and informative sports content across radio, digital, and social platforms. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, brings strong creative instincts, and has a deep understanding of today's sports media landscape.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Host live sports talk programs that are engaging, informative, and entertaining
  • Collaborate daily with co-hosts, producers, and program directors to meet show objectives and deliver high-quality content
  • Assist in developing daily show strategies, storylines, guest bookings, and on-air execution
  • Interact with listeners on-air and through social media to build audience engagement and loyalty
  • Create and manage compelling content across Audacy's digital video and social media platforms
  • Available to travel for events and weekend programming
  • Maintain strong relationships with key figures and brands within the sports industry
  • Research and prepare for broadcasts, ensuring timely and accurate sports coverage
  • Adhere to all FCC guidelines and protect the integrity of the station's broadcast license
  • Monitor show performance, commercial logs, and promotional elements during shifts
  • Participate in station promotions, remote broadcasts, and public appearances as needed
  • Collaborate on content ideas and innovative approaches to sports entertainment
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

Required & Preferred:

  • Proven experience as an on-air sports radio host in a major or mid-size market
  • Deep knowledge of sports culture, leagues, and current events
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver entertaining, insightful, and well-prepared commentary
  • Strong communication skills with a clear, professional on-air voice
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-host environment
  • Experience creating digital and social media content
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Understanding of FCC regulations and compliance standards
