Job Description

A great company located in the Dallas area is looking for an excellent Supply Chain and Logistics Tender Manager as follows:

Summary

The Tender Manager is responsible for managing the internal tender process for new and existing business opportunities while ensuring that the company provides the most competitive and profitable bids to clients. The Tender Manager will be required to work with various departments and stakeholders to ensure that all relevant information is included in the bid pricing process.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Manage the tender pricing and/or coordinating process from start to finish, including all internal file coordination, pricing and timely submission.

· Work closely with cross-functional product teams, as well as, commercial teams to ensure that all relevant information is included in the bid process.

· Stay informed and up-to-date with all inter-department meetings, minutes of meetings, and changes within the industry for Air and Sea.

· Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Salary

Excellent pay - $62,000 - $84,000 per year

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or work experience equivalent to Business, Supply Chain, or Logistics.
  • · 3-5 years of experience in the logistics and transportation industry, with a focus on tender management and pricing, with a keen understanding of Sea and Air standard routings.
  • · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • · Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • · Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • · Knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape.
  • · Fluent in English (oral and written).
